When I was growing up, my family moved around a lot. I was born in Detroit, went to high school in Naperville, IL and college in California. I never really had a “hometown” until I moved to the Madison area. After 30 years here, I’ve set down roots, raised my children here, and built a wonderful community of friends. I consider Madison my “hometown” and literally the best place to live in the U.S.
I received a journalism degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and spent the first part of my career as a newspaper reporter, editor and publisher. I’ve also spent many years in advertising sales for several media outlets in the Madison area.
I’m excited to be a part of the Alvarado Group and contribute to the company’s commitment to social justice and equitable access to housing in the Madison community. Being part of a company that actively values community allows me to align my professional work with values that truly matter to me.
As Transaction Manager, my role is to team up with you and your Realtor once you have an accepted offer. I to assist in coordinating documents, communication, and scheduling with various parties, including the sellers, buyers, cooperating brokers, lenders, and closing officers. Each step is important to ensure a stress-free, successful closing. I truly appreciate how each real estate transaction comes with unique circumstances and is made special by the people involved, and I enjoy working with each client and transaction.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in Wisconsin’s many parks, kayaking or boating on Madison lakes, listening to live music, or just hanging out on my porch with a nice glass of wine.
