4th Quarter Real Estate Market Update – Madison and Surrounding*
Locally, we saw 24.7% decrease in single-family homes sold, while seeing a 22.2% decrease in condos sold compared to last quarter. Overall we saw a normal seasonal drop, as the local market experienced smaller change when comparing it to last year with just 6.6% fewer homes, and 10.8% fewer condos sold compared to 4th quarter of 2022.
Even with those statistics, we see different numbers in different neighborhoods. What is happening in one area is not always happening in another regarding competing offers and average days on the market.
