2nd Quarter Real Estate Market Update – Madison and Surrounding*
Locally, we saw the spring market pick up with an 84.1% increase in single-family homes and an 87.4% increase in condos sold compared to last quarter. Overall the quarter seemed slightly more active compared to last year with an increase of 10% in homes and 7.4% in condos sold compared to 2nd quarter of 2023.
Even with those statistics, we see different numbers in different neighborhoods. What is happening in one area is not always happening in another regarding competing offers and average days on the market.
