Saturday, October 5th
Madison Parks Fall Festival Craft Fair – 10am-3pm Elver Park
The Fall Festival Craft Fair will be an event the whole family can enjoy with many types of art and handmade items on display, activities and food. Admission is free to the public and will be held outdoors rain or shine.
Friday, October 11th
University of Wisconsin Homecoming Parade – 6pm State Street
Enjoy the UW Marching Band, Spirit Squad and of course Bucky Badger as they march down State Street.
Saturday, October 19th
Pumpkin Decorating – 10:30am Bruce Company
Bring the kids out for a class on pumpkin decorating, and then watch them put their skills to work while decorate their own!
Sun Prairie Fall Festival – 11am-4pm Downtown Sun Prairie
Celebrate fall with horse-drawn wagon rides, chili cook off, games, treats and other activities.
Hartland Farm Festival Barn Dance – 4-7pm Full Compass Systems
Spend the evening enjoying live music, a delicious dinner and an array of kids activities. Wear your best country fare or come dressed in your Halloween costume… There will be prizes for best Halloween costume!
Friday, October 25th
Downtown Madison Family Halloween – 2-5pm State Street and Capitol Square
Bring the family and enjoy craft projects, Halloween stories, magic & ventriloquist shows, hay rides around the Capitol Square and of course trick-or-treating at participating businesses.
Beakers & Broomsticks – 6-8:30pm Madison Children’s Museum
Annual family fundraiser with an Alice and Wonderland Theme. Wear your costumes and partake in a Madhatter tea party, watch live science shows, check out some creepy crawly visitors and much more. Tickets on sale.
Saturday, October 26th
Make Your Own Trick-or-Treat Bags – 8am-5pm American Family Dream Bank (Capitol Square)
Supplies will be provided, all you need to bring is your kids creativity and get ready to craft.
