Cathy, who was raised in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, moved to Madison to complete her degree in Political Science in 1978. With only a few credits left she met her husband Steve Lacy, Wisconsin’s “hall of fame” runner who would go on to be a member of both the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Teams. There her adventures began, traveling Europe and the United States watching Steve compete in national and international competitions. They have been married for more than 30 years and most recently have enjoyed the adventures of building a home and developing a farm on 40 acres near Highland Wisconsin.

For over 20 years Cathy and Steve lived in McFarland (just outside Madison) where they raised their three sons. From 1980 to 1992 she and her husband designed and built over 50 homes in the Madison area. She started her career in real estate in 1994 and brings this extensive building knowledge with her in working with each of her clients. Her passion and love for building and design is what motivates her to find that special place to call home for each one of her clients.
