Sauk Trail is a truly unique K-5 Elementary school located within the city of Middleton. Being surrounded by natural woods and having Lakeview Park within walking distance extends our learning environment.

Our school community is made up of a dedicated staff, committed to helping all children learn and succeed as well as supporting families.

We take pride in our diverse student body of approximately 385 students who represent 17 countries and languages. While the majority of our population is English speaking, this diversity fosters a global learning experience for all. It has been a priority to keep class sizes small, which benefits learning for all students.

Sauk Trail is a school which focuses on building community and character. Monthly all school assemblies, Beach Day, and our annual Harvest Run are just some of the ways we come together as a school to celebrate and work together. Enrichment opportunities through clubs and activities provide our students a venue to excel academically and explore new interests.
