About Northside Elementary

Northside Elementary is located on High Road north of Century Avenue in Middleton, Wisconsin. Built in 1976, the school has an open feeling, with classrooms surrounding the LMC (Library) in the center of the school. The school currently serves 524 students. Most recently, the school received the following improvements:

• A multipurpose room and new kitchen. Besides being the lunchroom, which will free up the gym for more use, the multipurpose room is also a multimedia space with a sounds system, track lighting for a stage area and built-in digital protector with screen.,
• Two new classrooms.
• A full size occupational therapy/physical therapy classroom for our special needs children.
• Wheelchair accessible bathroom facilities for children with disabilities.
• Skylights added to two classrooms to bring in natural light.
• A conference room for meetings and staff development purposes.
• New boilers, air conditioning units and ventilation controls.
• New exterior windows.

Prairie

Northside is proud to have a beautiful prairie in the front of its building. Staff members and students have planted and tended to the prairie over the years.
