Conrad Elvehjem Early Childhood Learning Center website

As the proverb “it takes a whole village to raise a child” states, we anticipate an active partnership with parents and families to help us accomplish our district mission and campus vision to optimize the educational benefits for young children in the areas of academics and non-academics along with social/emotional development.  Together, we can help continue to build and expand upon the learning foundation you have addressed so well prior to enrolling your child in our schools.”

Note from Conrad Principal, Tom Mooney.

The Early Childhood Learning Center mentors the developmental needs of the “whole child”. Students are provided opportunities to engage in both core curriculum and other academic experiences, including related arts, enrichment programs,  special services, and integrated technology. CEELC is also home to the “Just Five” program. The program is an educational opportunity for children who are age-eligible but may not be ready to enter kindergarten. Children engage in active learning skills along with increasing developmentally appropriate skills in listening, communication, problem solving and socialization. The learning activities provide a learning foundation for early literacy and social skills in a structured environment.  The primary outcome for children enrolled in the Just Five program is to help support  in social skills, development and socialization.

Each child is a unique individual and it’s that individualism that will be focused on. CEELC staff supports your child as they begin their educational career .This will be the start of a wonderful journey, a journey that  families will enjoy and appreciate together.
